我在报社做记者，所负责的栏目几乎都跟怪力乱神有关。这一次按主编要求来乡下收集素材。收集素材这种事情不是一天就能解决的，因此我打算在这个村子住上一个星期左右。

我刚到这里时吓了一跳，没想到这个村子如此冷清，大街上一个路人都没有。这里简直就像一个死城，不，这个地方是村，应该称为“死村”更为恰当。

“接下来，到旅馆报到吧。”我也没多想，自言自语地往旅馆的方向走去。

在这种杳无人烟的村落中穿梭，我感觉很奇怪。这里不但没有路人，甚至一点儿风吹草动、狗鸣鸟叫的声音都没有……

走了约莫十分钟，我终于看见了旅馆。说是旅馆，也不过是与其他民居一样的平房罢了。

“不好意思，有人吗？我是今天预约的刘先生。”站在玄关处，我大声地喊着。

这时我瞥见走廊最里头的房间有个人慌张地打开房门，三步并作两步地跑过来，似乎是老板娘。

“不好意思，我刚刚在里头看电视，以为您会晚点儿到，没有想到您来得这么早。”老板娘不好意思地说。“没关系，我现在可以进房间吗？”

“当然可以，这边请。”

跟在老板娘的身后走着，我开始对这个村子产生了兴趣。

来到一个房间门前，她微笑着对我说：“刘先生，这是您的房间，有什么需要再叫我。”

“好的，谢谢.”

I put down my luggage, took out my small bag, recording pen, and camera, and went out to start working. However, this village didn't have a single passerby; how could I do interviews? After walking for a while, I found that in front of me was a school; feeling that going there might bring some benefits, I walked towards it.

"Uncle, what are you doing here?" Suddenly behind me came the voice of a little girl. I turned around to see an eleven or twelve-year-old girl.

I patted her head and said: "Little sister, you suddenly appeared behind me! Are you going to class?"

The little girl only nodded without saying anything more. Her eyes seemed somewhat blank.

"What's wrong? Not feeling well?"

"Why did we do something wrong?"

"You're not supposed to be like this!" The little girl shouted at someone behind me with wide-opened eyes. She wasn't looking at me; those words weren't addressed to me either but rather someone else.

As she spoke those words without looking back at us or noticing us standing there staring at her in confusion... She disappeared into thin air as if she had never been there before!

"Wait..."

"No need."

A long time later... As we were about to leave the room after packing our bags...

"Oh no..." We heard from outside the door...

We looked up from our belongings confusedly...

"What is happening now? What are they doing now?" The villagers started shouting angrily from outside the door...
