小花鸡要上幼儿园了，可是，昨天鸡妈妈给她买的小花帽却不见了，小花鸡急得团团转，鸡妈妈到处找也找不到，急得满头大汗。突然，鸡妈妈大声的问小花鸡，“昨天你跟谁玩了？”小花鸡怯怯的说：“很小灰鸭玩了，”鸡妈妈一把拽起小花鸡说：“走，我们去找小灰鸭，准是它偷去了”。

Chicken has to go to kindergarten now, but yesterday, the hat that her mom bought for her is nowhere to be found. The little chicken is spinning around in circles, and her mom is searching everywhere too. She's sweating all over.

Suddenly, the mother hen asks loudly: "Who did you play with yesterday?" The little chicken hesitates and says timidly: "I played with Little Gray Duck." Then the mother hen grabs the little chicken by the arm and says sternly: "Let's go find Little Gray Duck; I bet it took your hat."

The mother hen leads the little chicken to Little Gray Duck's house. Mrs. Grey duck comes out smiling from inside. The mother hen rushes up and demands: "Bring out your Little Gray Duck!" Mrs. Grey duck was taken aback, unable to say a word for a long time.

Then Little Grey duck walks out of the room. The mother hen grabs him roughly while scolding furiously: "Hand over my daughter's hat!" But instead of handing it over, he starts crying uncontrollably while saying between sobs: "Mother Hen! I didn't take your daughter's hat! I really didn't!"

Mrs. Grey duck tries to intervene as she sees everyone getting into a commotion.

Just then, Teacher Goose arrives on the scene and separates them all with an authoritative voice saying,"What are you doing? What happened here?"

Little Grey duck hides behind Teacher Goose still sniffling away through his tears," Mother Hen said that I took my friend Chicken’s flowered cap when we were playing together...but I didn’t take it! Please believe me teacher goose!"

Teacher Goose chuckles heartily before pulling out a small flowered cap from his pocket,"Is this not what you're looking for?" It turns out that after school yesterday, Chicken had left her flowered cap on their classroom desk!

The face of Mother Hen turns bright red at this revelation.
