Chicken has to go to kindergarten now, but yesterday, her mother bought her a little hat that has gone missing. Chicken is so upset that she spins around in circles, and her mother searches everywhere but can't find it. She's sweating all over.

Suddenly, the mother asks the chicken loudly, "Who did you play with yesterday?" The chicken hesitates and says timidly, "I played with Little Gray Duck." The mother grabs the chicken by the arm and says sternly, "Let's go find Little Gray Duck; I bet he took your hat."

The mother leads the chicken to Little Gray Duck's house. When they arrive at his doorstep, Mrs. Duck comes out smiling warmly. Mother Chicken pushes her way into their home without knocking and demands loudly: "Bring out your son!" Mrs. Duck looks taken aback but remains silent for a long time.

At this moment, Little Gray Duck walks out of their home crying uncontrollably as he holds up his hands defensively against Mother Chicken who is about to grab him again: "I didn't take your hat! I really didn't!" Tears stream down his face as he speaks.

Mother Chicken scowls furiously at him while holding onto his clothes tightly: “You're still lying? Yesterday was just you two playing together—where else could your little flower hat have gone?” Mrs. Duck tries to intervene between them as they get more chaotic.

Just then White Swan Teacher arrives on scene and separates them: “What are you all doing here? What happened?” As she sees them quarreling intensely over nothing important...She gently smiles under cover of feathers which seem like snowflakes.

“Is this where it belongs?” she asks Mother Chicken while pulling a small flowered cap from within her own bag - Aha! That’s my little flower cap!” said an excited voice from behind White Swan Teacher - It was none other than our dear chicklet!

White Swan Teacher explained calmly how it had actually been left on their classroom desk during dismissal time yesterday after school ended...

As if slapped across the face by truth itself...Mother hen turns red-faced in embarrassment

So kids do you think Mother Hen handled things well? Why or why not?

The story above is based on one of Grimm’s Fairy Tales
